Overall from my experience of this module it has been a positive experience as I have completed a range of briefs that have let me work within my intrests of graphic design. I belive that the work I have created over the module has been successful in meeting the requirements of the breifs that I set aswell as showing who I am as a designer and demonstrating my skill set through a varaiety of design outcomes.
Brief 3 and 7 both allowed me to create publications working with two different styles, this allowed me to show my versitility when designing publications aswell as showing enthuiasm towards the topics that I created publications for. Unlike other peoples experiences with colaborations these were my favourite briefs overall as the final outcome was better then first imagened and I belive it really shows off my skills in publication design. I really enjoyed my colabrative breifs as I chose partners who had different skill sets to myself which really benifitted the project and its outcomes.
The most unsuccessful breifs in my opinion were the shorter briefs that I created in two days. I belive the final outcomes were still successful but the design process felt rushed and because of that I felt that it didn’t meet its full potential. As I really enjoyed creating my plant publication I plan on creating issue two in the near future as I am passonite about the publication and it’s message.
I believe that all the briefs I undertook have helped me develop and refine my practice over this final year allwoing me to create successful self directed projects to create a body of work to showcase what I can create.
