After deciding on a typeface and finalising my pizza illustration i combined the two designs. I decided to split the text so that it was read in two parts to add to the humour as well as frame my illustration. I found that this worked well as it allowed my illustration to be the main focus of the card but also work alongside the text. Once completing this design i decided that the background looked too plain, and asked for feedback and suggestions on what would work best. Suggestions for the background were card boards as it is what pizzas commonly come in and also suggested was a single block colour of yellow to represent cheese. After trying out these two suggestions i decided that the pizza box/card board background look the best are it not only added texture it made the colour more vibrant and contrasted against the dark background.
