Studio brief 2 leukaemia care research

Typefaces

After doing some extensive research into the design principles of Leukaemia Care I could not find any public design Identity information on their typeface choices, however, after doing some research into their designs I believe I have found some typefaces similar to one of their typeface choices. I believe it is Scene Medium, this typeface is used as main titles and supportive typeface to provide additional information using variations of the same typeface to provide subtle differences to the typeface when differentiating between key and supportive information

The main typeface used in their designs I believe is a handwritten typeface and purely used for Leukaemia Care, I believe this is an appropriate and effective use of handwritten type because it breaks up the traditional and clean sans serif typeface to provide a more personal and less clinical user experience.

 Webpage

At the top of the page is the Leukaemia care logo, search bar and support phone number. Upon loading the page you immediately see the crucial information, the logo of the charity and even more importantly the support phone number which you can call for verbal support. This is crucial from a branding and identity point of view as you can clearly and effectively see who and what the services that they provide are. I believe this is useful to my designs as features of this can be adapted to all sorts of formats such as a physical pack which I am aiming to create with the ability to show the key information clearly and effectively.

On the front page, it cycles through various images with support information to provide a visual and friendly feeling to information it is providing with the use of the handwritten typeface to provide a less clinical look and feel to the information which I believe to be a crucial part of conveying support.

Information resources

Leukaemia Care provides a wide range of resources and information to support the user weather you're a carer or a patient the information is available to view in simple formats. I want to be able to create a simple and effective pack that combines all elements of a nonclinical and user-friendly as the core elements of the design.
