After speaking to a carer the first time I thought that it really help my idea process on creating a product that would benefit carers, below are a few ides that i came up with:
- website that you speak to someone and they send you the information that you need (feels personal and is useful)
- journel to help keep track of information and treatments
- information pack with facts about illness and information for carers
- app that contains a range of true and useful information to make searching for it easier
when speaking to the carer about these ideas they preferred the idea of being able to access the information without the internet, so liked the idea of an information pack. They also really liked the idea of the journal as there is a lot of information to remember. After speaking some more we decided that combining the two would create something from everyone, by combining them it allowed the product to be more useful to a wider rang of people as it catered to more things.
we spoke about the possibility of adding a pen into the pack as well as tea bags so that the information could be spoken about with the patient over a cup of tea, which promoted that it should be spoken about. After future consideration it was said that the tea might be largly unused as people may not drink tea and it was too extensive to off coffee as well. The pen was also dismissed as it would make the pack bulky and less portable.
