Above are images of records sleeves that i looked to inform me on what images are used on the cover and also what style is in at the moment. The first section of record sleeves are old covers from looking at these i found that image is a large part of record covers and that they are never portraits unlike cd covers and are bright, creative and also make believe images as they are not realistic and or a realistic impression of the subject. The second section of record sleeve are new covers, from looking at these i found that they are used as more of a way to show art then records are the imagery was very elaborate and considered and also followed on not the inside of the record sleeve as most opened up to more imagery inside. From looking at these i found that record covers are move about the art work than representing the artist/band with the occasional link of art work to lyrics in a song, or album title.
