Brief 1 - product range packaging

To start my project to create a packing range for a product is started by thinking of gaps in the market for food products this inculded :

  • an easy cooking range for bad cooks
  • new shape of Pringles (easier to get out) 
  • beer aim at women
  • cocktails for men
  • gluten-free range/nut free range
  • vegan chocolate 
  • healthy chocolate
  • safer egg cartons
  • food boxes with all ingredients and recipes for students
  • meat packing redesign
  • redesign of smart price products
out of these ideas the vegan chocolat idea stuck with me as in a converstation with anna from the course it was clear that there wasnt many options for vegans and i wanted to create something to was accessible with my packing design range. This gave me a purpose to making the packing for vegan chocolate as it could make something that isn't easily available more accessible by my designs. 

After my conversation about it with anna, we decided to work together on this brief as she has a first-hand experience and knowledge of what its like to be vegan and also whats on the market already. Anna also has great illustration skills and likes to use bright colours in her design so this would be beneficial to the product designing process.
