Above are my early sketches of the pictograms for the hotel, gym, shops, restaurants, bars, parking, lifts and arrows. I selected the best design from each category as my initial idea for development.
After completing these sketches i took them to photoshop to digitise them. Below are my digital finals of my pictograms, the background is black as an example but can be changed to any other dark colours so the white will contrast and the image will show. The pictograms are contained in a square as they then look part of a set and not individual. The symbols for the picograms are very simple as they are just line drawings, this allows them to be easy to understand and also be visible when only looking for a second.
