Allocating roles

After ruling out the idea of origami in the first meeting we then decided in the following meeting to mind map a few collective ideas, and allocated everyone to research over the easter break. We then decided that we would share this research in the group Facebook chat in the first week of the holidays so that we could then decide which we wanted to take forward and base our ideas on.

We came up with 6 concepts and routes and we agreed to help each other if anyone needed help and we struggling with the concept they were given. I was given the theme of money around the world to consider how it would be presented and how it would relate to our exhibition.

Money around the world

When considering the money around the world i remembered the money exhibition that we went to. This exhibition had money from all over the world and money from over 100 years ago. The exhibition was a successful exhibition as the work was well presented but i thought that money from around the world would be an unrelated topic to band our exhibition on as the money we are creating will all be different but not necessarily from this world as the brief was to create a bank note and didn't had a specific country or even a planet. 

Group work-deciding upon an concept

after undertaking our research and sharing in in the chat we took o vote on which concept we though would be most appropriate and decided on nick's concept of futuristic money (the future of money).
After deciding on this to started to discuss ways in which we would like the exhibition to appear and
how we wanted to promote it.

From this we decided that a futuristic technological approach should be taken. To make sure all areas were covered when developing everything for the exhibition was allocated roles to everyone:
