book final

Above are photographs of my final resolution and bound book. I  am very happy with the overall look of my book as i think that because of its simplistic use of colour and limited use of image/diagram that the book is appropriate and match the intended look i set out to create. I identified the target audience of 12+ as i though that these were to most appropriate ages for needing this kind of help from a tips guid. The use of block colour was added to create personality and to represent the intensity of the help that is being given. Things that i had to overcome in this project were my limited knowledge of indesign, this was important to overcome as this the the most relevant and useful piece of software that i could use to create a book.

unfortunately after print and binding my book i found type errors on a few of the pages, the below images are corrections of these type errors that i corrected on my photo type:

After finding these type errors i realised the importance of checking and re checking your work before ending to print, s well as getting someone else to look over it as not always do you realise your mistakes. This is a lesson learnt and now i will be more likely to double check before paying to print.
