studio brief 1 design ideas

When thinking of design ideas for my poster I came up with a range of ideas that I thought would best represent the market from the research that I have done as well as from the images I have seen.

• images of huts made from lights to represent that christmas lights on the huts that are bight at night with text
• image of band hut in centre of page with text above and below
• image of merry go round made from lights in a yellow colour, large across page with type below
• leeds german christmas market type in the shape of christmas tree with a start on the top
• leeds german christmas market type with christmas and market related images making up parts of the letters

Out of the above ideas I have chosen to experiment with the last two designs, as when receiving feed back on my ideas I found that people liked the idea of it being represented with text and not just image as german markets are very popular and most people have experienced the leeds market.
