Study Task 1 Help Link Research

Launched in Yorkshire in 1998, Help Link quickly grew into a leading UK boiler provider. They hold specific values and focus on what matters to their customers.
They make every effort to be affordable for everyone, to be professional and provide a quality service. They also strive for energy efficiency.  They take part in regional projects such as holding the “Worlds Largest Math’s Lesson” in 2014 as well as giving away 115 full rugby kits to junior teams across the country. They also renovated Harrogate Homeless Project’s accommodation, funding over £200,000.
The Help Link logo is simple and follows many gas, boiler and energy provider logo trends with its simple sans serif text with a small symbol design. Often the logo represents a gas flame, which is generically blue, or red/orange.  It is simple but still effective and makes the company look professional, which is a key aspect to big companies banding as they want to be taken seriously.

Many companies like to rebrand themselves to try keep up with current design trends. Rebrands often consist of changing the company logo and colours schemes along side promotional items and advertisements. Rebranding a company is a very risky task and sometimes its reciprocated unsuccessfully by the customers and clients.
Here are some examples that i found interesting of famous companies that have been rebranded in the past:
Tropicana a well known and loved juice brand went through a rebrand for try bring its designs unto date and give it a fresh new look. this sadly wasn't take well buy its customers and sales dropped so they decide to go back to the old original branding as people new and love it.

Gap is another famous company that tried to rebrand and freshen up there logo but were also unsuccessful. The customers and gap workers were quick to dislike that new modern simplistic design and with in 6 days of it being put out there gap decided to change back, this is said to be the quickest rebranding of all time.
